DTI with USAID RESPOND Project launched an online consumer complaint system last October 13, 2023—Makati City

DTI with USAID RESPOND Project launched an online consumer complaint system last October 13, 2023, in Makati City. Led by Trade Secretary Alfredo E. Pascual together with USAID-OECD Deputy Director Eric Florimon–Reed and RESPOND Chief of Party Enrico L. Basilio, the event formally launched the basic features of the DTI-Consumer Complaints Assistance and Resolution System (DTI-CAReS). The DTI-CAReS initiative envisions a future where all government agencies will be able to automate and streamline the online handling of consumer complaints with consumer protection functions.
